Red Dawn 2012

A city in Washington state awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky - shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation. Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerrilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

Rockin' at the Red Dog: The Dawn of Psychedelic Rock 2005

This documentary pays tribute to the contributions and importance of the title watering hole in the creation of the psychedelic dancehalls that littered the West during the late '60s and helped launch such super groups as The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and The Quicksilver Messenger Service. The Red Dog Saloon had its genesis in 1964 when a group of free-thinking, LSD-enhanced Northern California students and young folks had a party and began thinking about starting up a saloon that would evoke the old West. They decided to build their saloon in Virginia City, Nevada, a once prosperous town that was by then nearly empty. The ambience of the saloon blended Old West sensibilities with modern psychedelia, go-go girls and plenty of illegal drugs. The film is comprised of interviews with surviving founders, actual archival footage, and even a performance of some of the musicians who appeared there.

Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn 2012

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is a science fiction web series set in the universe of the Halo franchise. Forward Unto Dawn consists of five 15-minute episodes released weekly starting on October 5, 2012, and was later released as a single film on DVD and Blu-ray. The series was produced as a marketing effort for the video game Halo 4 intended to widen the audience of the Halo series and as a stepping stone to a potential Halo film. It was written by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing, and directed by Stewart Hendler. Forward Unto Dawn was shot in Vancouver over 25 days in May 2012 on a budget just under USD $10 million. It has just under 500 shots with computer generated imagery, approximately a quarter of what a feature film would have, but the visual effects received praise from reviewers. A coming-of-age story, Forward Unto Dawn follows a cadet, Thomas Lasky, at a twenty-sixth century military training academy as it is attacked by the Covenant, an alliance of alien zealots. Lasky is unsure of his future within the military but feels pressured to follow in the footsteps of his mother and brother. Lasky and his surviving squad mates are rescued by the Master Chief and, after the death of his romantic interest, Chyler Silva, Lasky is inspired by the Chief to take initiative and aids him in saving the remaining cadets.

Strange Dawn 2000

Strange Dawn is a 13-episode anime TV series created by Hal Film Maker for Pioneer LDC in 2000. The series follows the adventures of Eri and Yuko after they are transported to a strange world where all the people are very short. The series aired on Britain's channel 5 during their Saturday morning children's slot in the early 2000s and was later licensed by Urban Vision in North America, and the first two DVD volumes were released. However, according to their website, they do not currently have any specific plans for releasing the final two DVDs in the series. Anime DVD distributor: 'Dybex' did release all 4 volumes on DVD with French and Dutch subtitles. They are still available.

Alien Dawn 2013

Alien Dawn is an American/Canadian science fiction comedy television series which aired on Nicktoons. The series premiered on February 22, 2013, though was cancelled with 11 episodes unaired, resulting in the series' end on April 12, 2013.

Tony Orlando and Dawn 1974

CBS gave the group a television variety show (entitled Tony Orlando and Dawn) from the summer of 1974, after The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour ended its run, until December 1976. The show was in the same vein as its predecessor (with sketches featuring sarcastic back-and-forth banter between Orlando, Hopkins and Vincent, similar to the sarcastic dialogue between Sonny and Cher) and became a Top 20 hit. Xyber 9: New Dawn

Xyber 9: New Dawn is an animated television series produced by Bokabi and Saban Entertainment. It originally debuted on the Fox Kids network on September 25, 1999. Only 10 episodes aired before it was cancelled on December 4, 1999. Soon after, it was aired in its entirety on Irish television network RTE Two in the summer of 2001. Six years later, it appeared on Toon Disney as part of the channel's Jetix line up. In addition to re-airing the first 10 episodes, the remaining 12 episodes aired from February 24, 2007, through April 8, 2007, although these episodes were made in 2000.

Breakfast at Dawn

Breakfast At Dawn is Dawn News' daily morning show, hosted by Naveen Naqvi. It is a live, 90-minute morning news programme, focusing on news, politics, the economy, health, and sports. It is the only show in Pakistan that employs social networking sites, including Facebook and Twitter, to report breaking news. The programme is shot at the Dawn News studio in West Wharf Karachi.

Riders of the Dawn

Riders of the Dawn is a 1990 Spanish film, written and directed by Vicente Aranda, an adaptation of a novel by Jesús Fernández Santos. It stars Victoria Abril and Jorge Sanz. Made as a five episodes television minisieres, it premiered at the 1990 Cannes Film Festival as two part feature film.
