Written by and starring Paul Whitehouse and Chris Langham, it concerns a psychotherapist and his therapy sessions with a variety of patients almost all played by Whitehouse. Peter Strong, the diffident psychologist, has an obsession with his receptionist Rebecca and also has regular appointments with his own therapist, which is the only time when the scene leaves Peter's office. The other performers in the series were Mark Williams and Olivia Colman in cameos as patients, Alison Senior as a patient's wife, and Langham's real-life daughter Emily as a patient's prodigious daughter. The two most frequent patients were Gary, who initially uses his therapy sessions to escape from his wife; and Monty, an elderly Jewish taxi driver whose wife is suffering from Alzeimer's disease. The show was released on Region 4 DVD, but has so far remained unreleased in the UK. In 2007 the development of Pedro, a character in the proposed second series - which was never made - became a focal point of Langham's trial.
Call for Help, also known as CFH, was a computer-themed television program that first aired exclusively on TechTV, a cable and satellite television network focused on technology, and then aired on G4techTV Canada and the HOW TO Channel in Australia. The final taped episode aired on February 26, 2007, but because the episodes were taped out of order, a number of other episodes taped during the same shooting week aired through April 6, 2007. A spin-off called The Lab with Leo Laporte aired much of the same content as Call for Help and ran on the same networks. The Lab was canceled about one year later due to low viewer ratings and the final episode aired in August 2008.

H.E.L.P. is a United States ABC television drama series which appeared for only one season, as a mid-season replacement in March 1990. John Mahoney starred as Chief Patrick Meacham of the New York City Fire Department. Wesley Snipes played police officer Lou Barton and David Caruso played police officer Frank Sardoni of the NYPD. The premise of the show was based on an experimental combined emergency services station in New York City that co-located the resources of the Fire Department, Police Department and Emergency Medical Services. Although H.E.L.P. was canceled after only a brief initial season, the concept of a show involving all three branches of NYC emergency services was successfully reintroduced nine years later with the 1999 debut of Third Watch, which ran for six seasons on NBC.

It was a yearly event in which kids from around the country would call in to try to get one of their local parks refurbished by Nickelodeon, the ten with the most votes would get refurbished by Nickelodeon in an eight-hour special. There were special instances like the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack where they had unscheduled specials. In 2008, a sequel emerged called The Big Green Help, which was created to get kids interested in global warming. In 2010, the name "The Big Help" was revived.
